Garden Waste

From March to November your Garden Waste is collected every other week. December - February we operate a ring and request service for collections.

 Service Update: Collection Delays

We are currently experiencing some difficulty providing cover to HGV driving roles within our garden waste collection service.

As a non-statutory service, garden waste collections take place between March and November each year, and drivers are recruited on a temporary basis from agencies. With the current driver shortages our agencies are unable to supply drivers at present.

Because of this, there may be some delays to your garden waste collections. We understand this can be frustrating, but our teams are working hard to collect your recycling as soon as possible.

If your garden waste is not collected on your scheduled day we will do all we can to return later in the week to collect it. Please leave your green bags at the kerbside for collection until Sunday. Unfortunately if one of our teams has not been able to return by the end of the week you'll need to take it back in and put out again on your next scheduled collection day.
