Current collection delays

Before you report a missed collection please check if collections in your area are currently delayed.

Please share this information with friends, families and neighbours who do not have access to the internet.

We are currently running behind on collections in the following areas. If you live in these areas you do not need to report a missed collection. Please leave your recycling or waste out and we will collect it as soon as possible.

If your waste hasn't been collected today but doesn't appear on the below list, please check this page again after 9am the next morning before reporting a missed collection.

General advice if your recycling and waste has not been collected

If recycling and waste in your street has been collected but yours has been missed, there may be a reason we have not collected it:

• Your recyling and waste was not presented on time. Please make sure you have placed your recycling and waste at your collection point before 7am on your collection day. You can check your collection dates and sign up for collection reminders online.

• Incorrect items were included. Please make sure you place items in their correct containers. You can find out what to put in your recycling containers online. You can also look up items in our A - Z of recycling​ to see how they can be recycled or disposed of safely.

• Your containers were too full. Containers must be closed for collection. We will not collect additional recycling and waste around or on top of bins.

If we have not collected your recycling and waste for any of these reasons you will need to correctly present it on the next scheduled collection day. We will not come back to collect it.

You can also take your recycling and waste to a Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC).
