Day opportunities are available in the Vale of Glamorgan in a range of different settings for older people who may live with age related frailty, chronic illness, disability or mental health problems, including dementia.
Day opportunities can improve a person’s on-going ability to live independently at home, by providing social, physical and mental stimulation to those who are living alone or with family and feeling socially isolated. New Horizons Day Service for People with a Physical Disability
We provide a day service for people who have a permanent /substantial physical disability, are 18 -65 years old and live in the Vale of Glamorgan. The Day Service is part of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Social Services Department:

We provide meaningful day opportunities to adults with a learning disability, who also have a complex presentation of need.
