Vale of Glamorgan
Featuring artwork from Foundation Level Art & Design students, it showcases variety of media including photography, fine art, graphics and three-dimensional design.Despite having limited access to resources and mentoring support, the students successfully completed their course via online tutorials.
“We are delighted to have hosted the college’s End of Year exhibition for well over a decade now, with this year no exception. Despite the current difficulties, the students have continued with their studies and their hard work deserves recognition. “Throughout the pandemic, we have continued to support the arts with digital initiatives and are pleased to include the college’s work as a part of this.” - Cabinet Member for Leisure, Arts and Culture Councillor Kathryn McCaffer.
The exhibition also marked the retirement of fine art tutor Adrian Metcalfe, who has worked closely with the gallery since 2007. Visit the Art Central webpage to view the Cardiff and Vale College end of year, virtual art exhibition.
