Summer Of Fun LogoThe scheme is funded by Welsh Government and aims to support the wellbeing of children and young people to continue their recovery from the Covid restrictions of the last two years, with the added benefit of supporting families with the costs of activities over the summer holidays.

Summer Of Fun will run from 01 July to 30 September, and offers over one hundred free activities, suitable for children and young people aged up to 25.

Some of the activities include, fossil hunting, archery, dance classes and radio workshops. The programme also offers inclusive activities for children with additional needs, such as water floats and toys sessions.

As part of Summer Of Fun 2022, there will be a fun-filled family day at Romilly Park to celebrate National Play Day on 03 August. The day highlights the importance of play for children’s physical and mental health and relationships.
