Vale of Glamorgan
The wide scale refurbishment programme comes as the Council extended its partnership with Parkwood and Legacy Leisure earlier in the year.
Alongside the makeover, the centre now boasts a spin studio, a large fitness studio and new gym equipment.
Similar works to upgrade the Legacy Leisure sites at Barry, Penarth and Cowbridge are currently underway.
Cllr Gwyn John, Cabinet Member for Leisure, Sport and Well-being said: “I was delighted to view the new facilities at Llantwit Leisure Centre. “The site has been transformed into a modern venue where the community can enjoy keeping fit and trying new fitness classes. “I hope to see many current and new members using the new facility and I look forward to revealing similar upgrades across the Vale in 2023. “Well done to everyone involved!”
