Vale of Glamorgan
After proving popular in previous years, the Council’s Family Information Service (FIS) has been working with local partners to create a fun-filled Easter Activity Programme with exciting workshops and lessons throughout April 2022.
The activities include, craft workshops, egg hunts, swimming lessons and nature trails and caters for children and young people of all ages.
The programme also offers inclusive activities for children with additional needs, such as power chair football sessions.
FIS have also collated a bank of day nurseries, holiday clubs and childminders around the Vale to help families who need childcare over the school holidays.
Becky Wickett, Social Care Information Coordinator, said: “We are thrilled to see that so many organisations are providing activities and classes for children of all ages to enjoy in the Vale. “We hope that by compiling these activities in to an ‘Easter activity programme’ we will help families in the Vale to find fun ways to spend the Easter holiday.”
