Vale of Glamorgan
Barry
Market operators have reluctantly reached this decision due to a number of factors.
Marcus Goldsworthy, Vale of Glamorgan Council Head of Regeneration and Planning, said: “This is disappointing news, but we understand the reasoning behind the decision. “The Council was aware that the number of stalls had reduced significantly over a period of time. We have worked with the market operators in recent years to support them through what has been a challenging economic period for businesses in town centres. “We will continue to support town centres in the Vale and have a number of exciting plans in the pipeline.”
