Temporary closure of multistorey car park in Barry

The Vale of Glamorgan Council-run multistorey car park at Court Road in Barry will close for essential work.

The closure will take place during half term (October 25 to November 01) to minimise disruption to school staff who use the car park during term time.

This is following a Fire Risk Assessment commissioned earlier this year that identified several areas for improvement, including the need to remove the dry riser, replace fire doors and undertake health and safety works to the security lodge.

Other car parks in the area will operate as normal:

Kendrick Road – Free to park

Thompson Street - Free to park

Wyndham Street - Free 0- 2 hours, £2.00 2 – 4 hours, £6.00 All Day

Sunday - Free to park

Blue Badge Holders - Free to park

Motorcycles - Free to park
