Vale of Glamorgan
The Improvement Plan (Part 1) is informed by the Council's Corporate Plan, our annual review of performance, the annual service planning process, reports from our external regulators, as well as what our residents have told us in consultations that have taken place over the past year.
The Council consistently seeks to provide a wide range of essential and good quality services to Vale residents, whilst at the same time striving to improve.
The activities to deliver the Council’s Well-being (Improvement) Objectives for the year ahead are published in the Service Plans, which are the key mechanism for delivering our Corporate Plan and these are monitored quarterly.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council has a statutory duty to publish Well-being (Improvement) Objectives each year, and set targets against these in order to drive improvements in areas that are important to us and citizens.
