Leaving the EU

Information, advice and guidance on Brexit and what this means for EU citizen's living in Wales and businesses.

EU Citizens Living in Wales

Brexit means that EU citizens and their families will have to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to continue living and working in the UK by 30 June 2021.

Businesses

The UK has left the EU and has agreed a Trade and Cooperation Agreement, based on zero tariffs, and zero quotas, where goods meet the UK-EU preferential rules of origin. The UK is now outside of the EU’s customs union, the EU single market and the EU’s entire legal order. This means businesses should make the necessary changes to operate in an independent trading nation.

This on demand video from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, will help you to support and advise the businesses that you work with, by providing information on key areas of change, so you can advise and signpost to specific guidance on priority areas; review the supporting materials available for you to use; and identify support and resources available for businesses.
