Web and Channel Development Lead

Are you a talented content editor looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience administering a CMS and have what it takes to lead a network of content editors in creating an exceptional online experience for residents of the Vale of Glamorgan? Could you be a key figure in a digital change programme that will improve the way vital public services are delivered?

To deliver in this role you will need first class content skills. Exceptional copywriting skills and a flair for design are essential. You’ll also need to be confident using data to assess how content performs and be able to factor in accessibility and UX into content design.

You will work as a senior member of the Council’s new Strategic Advisory Group that leads the organisations work in communications, participation and equalities. You’ll be a key member of various project teams. You’ll operate as our in-house digital expert and will need exceptional interpersonal skills to enable you to advise colleagues working at all levels of the organisation and harness the capacity of a large network of content editors.

Your work will make a very real difference to the lives of people living in the Vale of Glamorgan. You’ll make information and services accessible for those that need them most and play an important role in an organisation that is changing at an exciting pace.
