The central hub, The Pod, provides convenient access to essential services like equipment assistance, training courses, and financial guidance. Communities for Work Plus (CFW+) in the Vale of Glamorgan is a dedicated employment support program designed to empower individuals on their journey towards sustainable employment. Our mission is to provide personalised and comprehensive services that address the unique needs of individuals seeking employment in the local community. Through a collaborative approach with local employers, support services, training providers and community stakeholders, CFW+ offers a range of services aimed at enhancing employability skills, fostering career development, and facilitating job placements.

 

At CFW+ in the Vale, participants benefit from personalised employability support tailored to their specific goals and aspirations. Our team of dedicated Employment Mentors offer guidance on CV writing, interview preparation, job searching techniques, and skills training. We believe in equipping individuals with the tools and resources they need to succeed in today's competitive job market.

CELT+ offers tailored employment advisory services and personalised mentoring for individuals facing under-representation in the job market or navigating transitions in their careers. Whether you're seeking training, exploring new career paths, or aiming to enhance your employability, CELT+ is here to assist.

Our support encompasses boosting your confidence, acquiring practical work experience, mastering new skills, or refining your CV. Additionally, CELT+ provides assistance with benefit claims, housing/homelessness issues, managing living expenses, and addressing mental health concerns.

 

We prioritise the individual needs of each client and arrange meetings within their local communities for convenience. Moreover, if required, we can extend financial support for transportation, necessary equipment, or resources to facilitate your progress towards your goals.

 

The POD serves as our advice centre, providing residents/participants with a convenient space to drop in and access essential support services.
