Traffic Calming Measures

We receive many complaints regarding speeding vehicles in residential areas and investigate each request by undertaking speed surveys.

Schemes are implemented on a priority basis taking into account:

recorded personal injury accidents
traffic flows
other important information

Bids are made to the Welsh Government each year for funding to carry out safety schemes known as, 'Safe Routes in Communities' in addition to our own revenue budget.
