Disposing of your waste responsibly

If you give your waste to someone else to dispose of you have a duty of care to make sure it is disposed of legally by a registered waste carrier. A list of registered waste carriers is available on the Natural Resources Wales website.

You could be fined up to £5000 in a magistrates court if you do not take reasonable measures to check operators are legitimate waste carriers and that waste will be disposed of correctly.
