Free swimming sessions in the Vale of Glamorgan

Many of our residents are entitled to free swimming sessions at Legacy Leisure centres in the Vale of Glamorgan. This is a dedicated time slot for you to use the swimming pool in, not a swimming lesson.

 

  • People over the age of 60

    Legacy Leisure Centres offer free swimming sessions for people over the age of 60. You can book these sessions online. You will need to register for the 'Aquatically Active Scheme' at reception to redeem your free session. People over the age of 60 can also swim during any other session for £2.70

    Barry Leisure Centre - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12.15 - 1pm

    Penarth Leisure Centre - Tuesday and Thursday from 12.30 - 1.30pm

    Llantwit Major Leisure Centre - Tuesdays from 2:15 - 3:15pm

  • Veterans
    Veterans can swim for free anytime at Barry Leisure centre. Please provide proof of your MOD ID at reception to redeem your free swim.
