Oracle Fusion: Updating your details

Oracle Fusion allows staff to manage their own personal details.

These can now be updated using corporate devices (e.g. work laptops), personal devices and the mobile app. We would therefore encourage all our staff to regularly check their details are up to date.

With the new Oracle Fusion system now embedded, we are asking staff to review their details, update these where necessary, and provide any missing information.

What do I need to do?

All staff must review and update their personal details by 15 April 2024. Step by step instructions on how to do this are below.

Please ensure you complete all the required information, including, where appropriate, the declaration of personal relationships at work. It is especially important that we are aware of these relationships so we can appropriately support any areas of potential conflicts.

While updating your personal information please also take the time to read the updated policy on gifts or hospitality and guidance on what to do should you be offered any while undertaking your role.

Why do we need this information?

This information is important in helping us understand the profile of our staff, the people who make up our teams, and what we as an organisation can do to ensure everyone has the support they need.

A better understanding of our staff will support our staff networks such as the Disability Group, Diverse and GLAM, in their work to raise awareness and support employees in making positive contributions to the Council, its working environment and the diverse communities we represent.

The information also helps our HR team in applying the corporate policies that keep us all safe and with our annual anonymised reporting to Welsh Government.

Who can see my personal information?

The confidentiality of your personal information is essential, the only colleagues that will see your information are professional users from Human Resources and Finance who are required to use the data for reporting and processing purposes.
