Have you heard about Missions in Action?
Leaders from across the public sector in Wales have been invited to come together for the Missions in Action event in the heart of Cardiff.
The 'Missions in Action: from Vision to Reality’ event, organised by Cardiff Capital Region Challenge Fund, aims to convene leaders, decision-makers, and public sector representatives to explore and discuss the role of mission-led innovation in addressing major societal challenges.

The event will encourage open dialogue and aims to inspire collaboration, share lessons learned, and demonstrate the practical benefits of adopting mission-led approaches to foster positive change.
What is a mission-led approach?
Mission-oriented innovation is an approach that identifies the most pressing challenges in society and breaks them down into pragmatic steps and goals and seeks to deliver commercial and public value.
Speakers on behalf of Caerphilly Council and Cardiff & Vale Health Board will also be taking part to talk about how they have addressed their own challenges, the approach they adopted, the lessons learned and plans for the future.
The event will be taking place on 21 February between 09:30 - 14:00 at Cornerstone in Cardiff City Centre.
