Summer Block Welsh Courses 

The Vale of Glamorgan Council is excited to announce our Summer Block Welsh Courses, providing a fantastic opportunity for staff to enhance their Welsh language skills.

You can complete the entire Entry (1+2) course in just six weeks or opt to finish part 1 or part 2 in three weeks.

We strongly encourage all staff to learn Welsh due to its numerous benefits for you, our organisation, our customers, and the community. The Work Welsh program is not only for learners but also for Welsh speakers who want to improve their skills and gain confidence in using Welsh more in the workplace.

We are proud to have appointed Sarian Thomas-Jones as our Work Welsh Coordinator. Sarian is dedicated to developing Welsh language skills among our staff and delivering comprehensive Welsh courses.

These courses are free of charge and will take place during work hours, so you won't have to use your leave or personal time to attend. However, please ensure you have your manager's approval before signing up.
