Julie Gratton is retiring

After 42 years and 5 months of dedicated service, Julie Gratton is set to retire from her role as an administrative assistant within the democratic service department.

julie GrattonHer official retirement date is April 30th, with her last day scheduled for Wednesday, April 24th. Since joining on 30th November 1981 at the Civic Offices building, Julie has been an integral part of the team, primarily in Democratic Services/Committee Services.

Principal Democratic and Scrutiny Services Officer, Karen Bowen, expressed gratitude for Julie's contributions, stating, "Julie has been a fabulous team member and a truly wonderful individual who has shown unwavering dedication to the Council since day one.

“She has been an invaluable asset to our service, and her presence will be greatly missed."

To honour Julie's remarkable career and commitment to the council, there will be a special presentation at 2.00pm on Wednesday April 24th in the Communications office on the 1st Floor of the Civic Offices, opposite the lifts, where colleagues and close friends are invited to wish her well on her retirement journey.
