The Visit the Vale team want to hear from you!

The Tourism Team wants to hear local residents’ views on this industry – and that includes staff.

With the summer season now over, the Council is working with Welsh Government to understand how the Vale views tourism.

The aim is to gather opinions of those living in the area, with similar projects running in Gwynedd and Pembrokeshire, supported by Visit Wales.

It’s important to capture both the advantages and disadvantages of tourism so it can be managed sustainably.

Anyone interested in taking part is invited to complete a survey, with the findings used to inform future policy to best meet the needs of the communities involved.

While the purpose is to ensure every voice is heard, all responses can be given anonymously so there is no risk of personal identification, while participants can withdraw from the process at any point.

Tourism provides jobs and helps to support a wide variety of businesses, but it can also put pressure on our transport network and other infrastructure.
