GLAM Refresh

Calling on all existing and prospective members and allies

We are looking to refresh the leadership of GLAM, our LGBTQI+ Staff Network and to invite new members.

Our most recent Chair has moved on to a new role in another organisation so we are inviting interest for Chair, Vice Chair and seven Steering Group Member roles.   

We welcome interest from members and allies, though we would like the Chair and Vice Chair to come from members of the LGBTQI+ community.

We think that by having more people involved in the leadership of GLAM, the work involved can be shared so that it is more manageable and there can be a more flexible approach to who gets involved in a piece of work at any one time.  We are also keen to see representation from the different sub sections of the LGBTQI+ community.

As a staff network, GLAM offers support to LGBTQI+ colleagues, runs social and awareness raising events, participates in local Pride events, works towards improvements under Stonewall’s Workplace Equality Index and gives feedback to the Council on policy and practice.

If you would like to join GLAM as a member or an ally, please complete the membership form and this will ensure that you receive information from GLAM and be invited to future meetings and events.
