Colleagues at the Alps Hold Christmas Raffle
This Christmas, the team at the Alps celebrated Christmas by getting together on 21 December and holding a Christmas raffle for staff in Neighbourhood Services and Transport.
The event was thought of and funded by the management team and also by some sponsors who were more than happy to get involved.
Some 208 staff entered the raffle and more than 35 lucky entrants went home with food hampers packed full of Christmas treats.
Hampers included a wide range of food items from bottles of drink and boxes of chocolate to Christmas turkeys.
Those that attended the event described it as an excellent morale booster for staff before Christmas.
Additional packages were also distributed to some staff to help assist during the cost-of-living crisis.
We want to give a big shoutout to Christine Banfield and Joanne Lewis for helping to arrange the event, Zoe Davies for arranging discounts on the hampers and toys and Nick Jones for his work with the food packages.
