Our annual beach hut draw is now live!

Beach huts at Barry IslandEach year, we invite staff and residents to enter a draw to purchase an annual hire for one of our beach huts at Barry Island’s Eastern Prominade.

Enjoy spectacular views across Whitmore Bay from the comfort of a beach hut!

This year, we have six large and six small huts available for annual hire:

For the 2023/24 season, the charge for a small hut is £640.30 per year.
For the 2023/24 season, the charge for a large hut is £868.90 per year.

(All charges are subject to Cabinet approval).

This year’s draw will take place during the week commencing 06 March.

Register your interest in a beach hut annual pass

Due to high demand those who currently hire an annual beach hut (2022/23) are unable to apply for one this coming season (2023/24).

Please note: Repair works are being carried out on the Eastern Shelter during 2023. This work is scheduled for approximately 16 weeks from mid-February.

Throughout the period of this work access through the shelter may be limited or modified. You will still be able to access the beach huts, but you may need to use the alternate access route across the top of the Eastern Shelter.

There will be scaffolding in place during this work. The work will also involve the use of  powered machinery, plant and tools which will bring increased noise to this area of the Promenade.
