Rob's Weekly Round Up
01 June 2022
Dear colleagues,
I hope this message finds you well ahead of the extra-long bank holiday weekend.
As always, while the shortened working week will allow lots of some time to recharge and many will be looking forward to enjoying the break with friends and families, many of our colleagues will remain hard at work.
I want to recognise those both in frontline services and working behind the scenes to enable residents and visitors to enjoy all that is on offer the Vale of Glamorgan in the coming days.
Events across the Vale are being supported by colleagues from our Tourism, Neighbourhood Services, Communications teams, as well as I am sure many other colleagues. You can find information about some of the great events taking place across the county on the Visit the Vale website. As well as information on how to enjoy the long weekend and any changes to services on our social media feeds.
I’d also like to thank all those working in areas such as Social Services where their work to support residents does not stop and those working in our waste and recycling teams who continue to work under immense staffing pressures. Diolch pawb am bopeth. Thanks to you all for your commitment and dedication to public service.
Whatever you are doing this bank holiday weekend, enjoy.
As always, thanks for all your work this week. Diolch yn fawr.
Rob.
