Santa’s Cause wraps up this Friday

As we head into the last few days of our Santa’s Cause campaign, we want to highlight the generosity of our colleagues.

Since the Santa's Cause campaign launched two weeks ago, we have been inundated with support and colleagues from across the Council have pulled together to ensure no child goes without this Christmas -True Vale spirit!

Thanks to the generosity of colleagues and partners, we are now in a great position to support our Social Services in delivering a present to every child and young person in the Vale who otherwise may go without.

We are still accepting present and cash donations from staff until Friday 09 December.

If you wish to contribute a gift to Santa’s Cause, you can do so by dropping off an unwrapped present at one of our drop off points. You can find more information about donating gifts on the Santa’s Cause SN+ page.

Alternatively, if you would like to make a financial donation to Santa’s Cause, you can do so by submitting a cash donation at the cash desk at the Civic Offices. Please quote the payment code ‘SCCD’ to the cashier. 

With the rising cost of energy, fuel and food, understandably many colleagues will be concerned about covering the cost of their own Christmas and will not be in a position to contribute to Santa’s Cause.

If you wish to get involved, you can support Santa’s Cause at no cost by sharing the campaign on social media.

We have put together a bank of social media posts and graphics that you can use to spread the word among family and friends.

As this is a staff campaign, if you wish to shout about our great cause on social media, please make it clear to family and friends that if they wish to contribute, they should do so through you.

Members of the public will not be able to drop off presents and/or make a cash payment.
