If you watch the recorded version, we would be grateful if you could take a couple of minutes to complete the anonymous Learning Café evaluation form below. The session was recorded live on 14th December 2022.

Question:

Hi, do you have any advice for Officers carrying out public participation activity in terms of how to build consideration of the wellbeing objectives into the framework of the engagement activity - and how they should/could be factored into consideration of the outcomes of the exercise. Eg if community members are favouring particular options, should these in term be measured against the Wellbeing objectives (thinking in particular here of Project Zero, but it potentially applies to all). Thanks.

Answer:

For anyone looking for support for their public participation work the best advice I could give would be to join the Public Participation Practitioners Network which is facilitated by our Communications team. The network brings together colleagues from across the organisation who are involved in involvement, engagement ad consultation work and also includes members of our policy team who would be well placed to advised on all matter relating to WBFG Act. For more information, please contact Rob Jones or Hannah Rapa.
