This Christmas, the Cardiff and Vale Credit Union have put together some useful information about support and help available to those struggling to cover the cost of Christmas and the rising cost of living.

Already Have a Loan With Cardiff and Vale Credit Union?

If you already have a loan and you have repaid at least 25% (or a third if it is your first loan with us) you are eligible to apply for a top-up loan. If you have been declined a loan with Cardiff and Vale Credit Union in the last 3 months, please call before applying to confirm whether you are eligible.

Refer a Friend

Complete a ‘refer a friend’ form and submit along with your loan application, and if the loan application is successful, both you and your friend will be credited £10 each to your credit union accounts (T&Cs apply).

Cost of Living

Many of us are concerned about increasing energy costs this winter, which will affect our finances. Cardiff and Vale Credit Union are advising members who don't currently save regularly, to start saving now if they can, to protect against the increased costs ahead. Cardiff Council's money advice team based at Central Library Hub offer free money advice to Cardiff residents. Cardiff and Vale Credit Union are working with them to attend their planned money saving roadshows across Cardiff over the next few months.
