Vale, Valleys and Cardiff are the local authority adoption collaborative for Merthyr Tydfil CBC, Rhondda Cynon Taff CBC, Vale of Glamorgan Council and Cardiff Council.

We’re dedicated to finding families for children who require adoption across our four local authority areas and have continued to operate our full service throughout the pandemic.
If you have been considering exploring adoption as a route to starting or extending your family then we would love to hear from you.
Or, if you know someone who might be considering adopting let them know we would love to hear from them too.
Currently, we’re particularly interested in hearing from people who would be open to considering children 3+ years old, sibling groups and children of all ages with complex adverse childhood experiences.
