This campaign aims to keep us all informed, protected, and proactive when it comes to avoiding accidents and responding to potential risks.

Reduce Workplace Accidents

Reducing workplace accidents starts with proactive reporting. By promptly reporting near-misses, hazards, or incidents, we can prevent small issues from becoming major problems. Compliance with essential rules and regulations is also a vital part of keeping everyone protected, and it helps establish a strong culture of safety. Paying close attention to trip hazards—such as cluttered walkways or loose cords—goes a long way towards minimising slips, trips, and falls.

Promote Fire Safety Compliance

When it comes to fire safety, completing and adhering to fire risk assessments is essential. These assessments ensure we’re prepared in the event of an emergency, and they help everyone understand potential risks. We also stress the importance of keeping fire exits clear—never block or clutter these vital pathways. By maintaining clear exits and regularly reviewing evacuation procedures, we can protect each other and our workplace.

Combat Violence & Aggression

Violence and aggression can pose serious risks in any environment, which is why recognising, reporting, and effectively managing incidents are key elements of our campaign. We’ll be sharing strategies for identifying early warning signs and preventing escalation whenever possible. Conflict management training is available to help de-escalate tense situations, and lone-working device support ensures that individuals who work alone have an added layer of protection. By knowing how to spot potential problems and respond quickly, we can foster a safer, more respectful environment.

This hub will link you to reporting tools, helpful guidance, and clear instructions on how to stay compliant with workplace regulations. In addition, we’ll be displaying posters around our premises to reinforce key messages, and we’ll launch an email campaign that highlights essential points and keeps everyone up to date on how to stay safe.
