Penarth Food Pod volunteers donate more than just their time to the community
Penarth Food Pod volunteers have recently donated their volunteer rewards to Ty Hafan hospice in Sully, as part of the recent ‘Gift it Forward’ campaign.
Viv and Jill, two of the long-standing volunteers at the Penarth Food Pod, recently received rewards from Value in the Vale for as a thank you for volunteering their time to support the Food Pod and local community.
However, the volunteers were eager to generously gift their rewards forward to families at the Ty Hafan hospice in Sully as part of Value in the Vale’s latest ‘Gift it Forward’ campaign.
The volunteers presented a wonderful selection of rewards to the hospice who were delighted to receive them, from free coffees and carwashes to beauty items, toiletries, and baby items.
