Another successful Santas Cause campaign
Another successful Santa's Cause campaign!
Thanks to the generosity of staff, local organisations, and our communities, we have been able to make sure every child and young person on our list has a gift to open this Christmas.
As we near the big day our teams of elves are busy packing the gifts and distributing them to families across the Vale.
Whether you shared the cause on social media, donated a present, contributed money, offered your services, or helped to coordinate the campaign, thank you for helping keep the magic of Christmas alive for another year!
In true Vale spirit, Santa’s Cause has been a huge collaborative effort, but we have some special shout outs to those colleagues who have gone above and beyond to support the campaign.
A big thank you goes to the Creative Communities, Family Information Service, Dewis, Greenlinks, Wellbeing Matters, Electoral Services, Payroll, Regeneration, Transformation, IT Frontline Support, Sports and Play, Community Support, Hospital Discharge, Commissioning and Finance, and EventsTeams, Michael Harney, Richard Thomas, Jo Barker, Jeanette Winter, Amy Rudman, Eleanor Richards, Chris Banfield, Sophie Williams, Anothony Taylor, Trish Wait, Julia Esseen, Elis Jones, Sharon Miller, and Debbie Maule.
Many schools in the Vale also got involved in this years campaign: Ysgol Y Deri, Stanwell, St Athan Primary, St Helens Primary, St Nicholas CIW Primary, Whitmore High, Bro Morgannwg, Pencoedtre High, and Sully Primary.
Finally we'd like to give a big thank you to Hen Goleg, New Horizons, Ty Dewi Sant, and Rondell House care settings. All your work to organise fundraising activities made a huge difference to this years campaign.
