Learn Welsh this September 2024
Have you thought about learning Welsh or developing your Welsh language skills?
Learning Welsh is great for your mental health and wellbeing, contributes to your personal and professional development, helps improve our service to Welsh speaking residents, and contributes to the Welsh Language Promotion Strategy!
The courses are all free of charge to Council staff and members. Follow the links in the table found on the courses Staffnet page.
September 2024 Courses
All courses will be via Zoom, but classes will have the opportunity to meet up face-to-face during the year.
The courses are during work time and count as work – you will not have to use your leave or own time to attend the courses.
Please however check with your manager before signing up. Please complete the Work Welsh Agreement and email to Sarian Thomas-Jones.
Your class will be on that day and time for the duration of the course. Courses run for around 32 during term time – you are expected to attend every session. If you need to miss a session, you may need to catch up.
There is also still time to sign up to a block course where you can complete Mynediad/Entry level part 1 in just three weeks! Or parts 1 and 2 in just six weeks.
