Bi Visibility Day 2023

Bi Visability DayOn Saturday 23rd of September 2023, we mark the 25th anniversary of Bi Visibility Day, a day dedicated to celebrating and raising awareness about the bisexual community.

This day is a reminder that bisexuality is valid, real and deserving of recognition. It’s a chance to stand in solidarity with our bisexual friends and families, ensuring they feel seen and heard in the community and importantly within the workplace.

GLAM has put together an information document on bisexuality, providing information of what is bisexuality and how we become allies to our bisexual friends, colleagues and loved ones, as well as links to useful information documents.

Please reach out to GLAM if you require any further information surrounding bisexuality or any other LGBTQ+ matter.

The Council work extremely hard to ensure that we offer a safe and enjoyable place for LGBTQ+ people to work and to ensure that the Vale of Glamorgan area is a positive and nurturing environment therein. If you would like to get involved in this, or if you have any suggestions for how to make things better, please contact GLAM, our LGBTQ+ Staff Network.

If you are concerned about discrimination or harassment, or want more information about how to report it, please refer to the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s grievance policy.
