GLAM Event 06 June - Come and say hello and plan for Pride

You might remember that we recently asked all current and potential GLAM members and allies to put themselves forward for the leadership of the network. Thank you to everyone who responded. We are now pleased to announce your new leadership team.

The new Chair of GLAM is Lee Boyland and the vice-chair is Carl Culverwell.

Tim Howells is the first volunteer to support and advise the new-style leadership team. Tim looks forward to helping out when he is more settled into his new role in the Council. It would be great to have more people on board – it’s not too late to get involved.

We would like to invite you to meet your new Chair and Vice-Chair on Tuesday 06 June in the Corporate Suite.  You can drop in at any time between 2pm and 5pm to say hello, find out more, and let us know how you can support the network.

We hope to see as many of you as possible on 6 June.  We welcome new members and members from schools too.  We will be looking to have future meetings at different times so people from across Council services and schools can attend.

June is Pride Month so we hope to involve you in some Pride planning activities on 6 June – bring your paper and pens!
