Diverse Network holds Watch Parties
The Vale of Glamorgan’s Diverse Network are holding a series of ‘Watch Parties’ in 2023.
The idea is based on the success of last year’s Diverse Network Book Club but this time the group want to get together to watch a film.
The first session will take place at Holton Primary School on Wednesday 25 January from 3pm – 4pm.
The film selected for this first get-together is a BBC production called ‘Black and Welsh’, in which film-maker Liana Stewart brings together people, from actors and comedians to a model and a Rastafarian beekeeper, to share their stories of what it means to be black and Welsh.
Once the film is finished you’ll be encouraged to take part in a discussion on the film and its content.
If you’re interested in taking part, please email Diverse@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk
Further sessions are planned to be held on Wednesday 26 April and Tuesday 18 July 2023.
