Become a member of the Electoral Registration Team

Are you interested in becoming a Poll Clerk or making the step up to become a Presiding Officer?

The Electoral Registration Team will be starting their staffing campaign in the new year and are looking for eager and capable people to assist in Election Duties.

These include:

Working at a polling Station as a presiding officer or poll clerk, assisting at the count, postal opening session etc.

Council Staff will receive additional pay and special leave on poll day (pending approval from your line-manager)

To show people the function of a working polling station, a breakdown of responsibilities and to answer any questions you may have; the Electoral Registration Team would like to hold workshops based in the Civic Offices.

These will be help during lunch hours, after work and/or on the weekend depending on the interest.
