Phone line upgrade and disruption

There is a planned upgrade to the telephone system for Thursday, July 15. This will see prolonged disruption for many lines within the Council

As part of the UK telephone upgrade, ICT will be working with Virgin Media and BT to migrate a large number of telephone lines from an analogue to a digital service.

This work is scheduled to commence at 10:00 and there is potential for severe disruption for up to 4 hours.
