Housing and Building Services launch their Big Conversation

Staff in Housing and Building Services are being asked to help shape the future of their service area by completing The Big Conversation questionnaire

29 June 2020

If you work within Housing and Building Services, this is your opportunity to get involved, everyone completing their questionnaire  will be entered into a free prize draw -  3 lucky winners will win vouchers worth £75, £50 & £25.

So get ready to say it, share it  and make it happen!

Housing and Building Services want to start a conversation with their staff to find out how their teams will emerge from Covid-19. What lessons can we learn? What changes need to be made and what new practices could be put in place going forward?

This is exciting opportunity for those working within Housing and Building Services to have their say on how their services should change - adapt and be delivered post-Covid.

Head of Housing and Building Services, Mike Ingram, said:

"Covid-19 has pushed us to a way of working which, eventually, we may have adopted in terms of remote working. However, this period has also made us think about the way we currently work and what changes we could implement for the future. This is an opportunity to learn from this experience and modernise our service."

The launch of this big conversation allows all housing staff to say what they feel confidentially, to share their thoughts, ideas for changes and concerns with management and make things happen by getting involved in the programme for change.

When is this happening?

The questionnaire launches today, 29 June, and closes at 5:00pm on 14 August

How do I get involved?

Staff who are office based will be sent an email by Mike Ingram, Head of Housing and Building Services, inviting them to complete the questionnaire. Those who are not office based have access to Staffnet+ on their personal device and therefore are encouraged to complete the questionnaire by clicking on the link below.

If you don’t have access to the internet hard copies of the questionnaire can be sent to you via post – please speak to your line manager about this.

Remember this is your opportunity to have your say and play your part so say it, share it and make it happen.
